Ahead of the official releases of both the iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c this Friday, September 20th, early reviews of the new devices have gone live at several publications. The iPhone 5s includes notable new featured such as the Touch ID fingerprint authentication system, and improved camera, and a faster processor. The iPhone 5c sports the same guts as the iPhone it replaces, but adds a plastic back shell in various colors....

Following leaked images of the rumored iPad Air 4 a few days ago, additional iPad schematics have allegedly surfaced this weekend. The schematics were shared by 91Mobiles and claim to offer details on the rumored 10.8-inch, eighth-generation iPad, but there are a few things to be skeptical of here. The schematics show an iPad with a design similar to the iPad Pro. There are slim bezels around the side, USB-C connectivity at the bottom, what appears to be an Apple Pencil magnet on the side, and the Smart Connector on the back....

As promised, Analog Camera for iPhone and iPod touch has hit the App Store to fulfill your filtered photo taking needs. I had a chance to spend some time with the app over the Memorial Day weekend and quickly decided it’s a keeper. Analog Camera is a seriously fun and fast camera app with personality, as we would expect from the makers of Clear for iPhone and Mac (and soon iPad), that features eight different photo filters and all the social network sharing you could ever need....

Given the widespread adoption of Bluetooth wireless for in-car telephone calling and music streaming, it would be easy to write off Lightning connector-equipped car accessories as… decreasingly important. Adobe recently announced the latest Mac versions of Photoshop Elements 11 and Premiere Elements 11, and I had a brief opportunity to glance at some of their shiny, new add-ons. Version 11 of both programs notably boast new looks, new experiences, new features, and new functions; but more importantly, they effectively tout prosumer video- and photo-editing solutions for the average consumer. This review has been updated a year in, with an improved thermostat with built-in display and touch-sensitive controls, and new fuel-saving figures. Affordable home automation has been a long time coming. Frankly, I’m a bit disappointed that it’s the 21st Century and homes still don’t have Star Trek style swishy doors as standard.
