Apple stock took a beating in premarket trading as Rosenblatt Securities released a pessimistic updated outlook on company performance. The firm downgraded Apple stock to “sell” from a previously neutral rating. The company said Apple’s new iPhone sales will be disappointing and that services revenue growth will decelerate. The iPhone 11 is expected to feature a new triple-camera system with greatly improved night photography, and a wider range of zoom thanks to the new ultrawide lens....
As a serious photographer, I do as much as I can to make my daily shots excellent, using cameras with low-noise sensors and fast lenses — then trying to keep them as steady as possible in low light. The Recording Industry Association of America is out with its full annual study focusing on the music industry’s revenue during 2019. According to the data, streaming music revenue continues to grow, increasing by 25% in 2019. Recorded music revenues hit a total of $11.1 billion in 2019. The RIAA says that paid streaming music services, such as Apple Music and Spotify, accounted for $6.8 billion in revenue during 2019, which is up 25% year-over-year....

We’ve reviewed and enjoyed a number of TwelveSouth products over the years. We were intrigued by the hollowed out book idea with the company’s original BookBook case for the MacBook Air and since it has brought out similar hand distressed leather BookBook cases for other Apple devices, like the iPhone and iPad mini. While maybe not the ideal option for Apple’s anti-skeuomorphic cheerleaders, I found the stark contrast to Apple’s sometimes cold industrial design a nice juxtaposition....

For the past couple of weeks, I have been testing a new MacBook stand called the Kickflip. I’ve used some of the more high-end stands for my laptop in the past as it improves the ergonomics involved with keyboard typing and because it improves the cooling of the computer. This new Kickflip is not stationary like some other stands on the market, but it is an accessory that sticks to the bottom of your laptop....
Many iPad keyboard cases have hit the market in recent weeks and we finally got our hands on ZAGG’s ZAGGMate iPad keyboard case for review… and it’s awesome. The ZAGGMate is an iPad keyboard accessory at heart but doubles as a case. The case aspect of the ZAGGMate is not fantastic but the keyboard part may just be the best third-party implementation we’ve seen. The original Mortal Kombat arrived in arcades way back in 1992 and quickly became popular for its distinctive characters and brutal combat. While parents were outraged by the gore and violence found in the games, their popularity only grew with each sequel. A PG-13 movie adaptation appeared in 1995 from director Paul W.S. Anderson (Resident Evil), and while it watered down the bloodshed somewhat, it did a surprisingly good job capturing the charm of the games....
